Joyce Ann Wilson Hodges, age 84, of Springville and formerly of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at her home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 2:30 pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Terry Bear officiating. Burial will follow in the Springfield Memorial Gardens with Jarrett Miller, Dwayne Miller, Darrell Van Meter, Lucas Wilkins, Jason Cleary and Liam Cleary serving as pallbearers. Gabriel Rylee will be an Honorary Pallbearer.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:30pm until the hour of service at 2:30pm.
Mrs. Hodges was born September 27, 1937 in Springfield, TN to the late Ewing and Annie Laura Savage Wilson. She was a homemaker and worked at Emerson Electric.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Hodges is preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Hodges, her brother, Carl Wilson, her sister, Betty Jean Rice, and her sister-in-law, Janice Wilson. Mrs. Hodges is survived by her son, Danny Hodges of Clarksville; daughter, Lisa (Dwayne) Miller of Springville, TN; brother, Charles Wilson; sister, Sheila Kay Burton; grandchildren, Ryan Hodges, Stacey Clary, Danielle Fleming and Jarrett Miller; and 11 great-grandchildren.
