Joyce Ann Reckley Fontentot, 81, of Hampton Cove passed away Monday. She attended high school in Salem, VA. A member of Hillwood Homemaker Club, she loved being a homemaker. She was also a member of T.O.P.S (Take Off Pounds Simply) and the Red Hats Renegade. Her favorite craft was cross stitching. She was an easy going and sweet lady to have around.
Survivors include her husband, James W. Fontentot; and daughter, Rachelle Marie Fontenot. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Earl Reckley and Rachel Gladys Goodwin Reckley, and brother, Everitt Earl Reckley.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, February 14th at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, with the funeral immediately following at the church. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
