Elizabeth “Lisa” Dorsch Harski, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on February 7th at the age of 90. She was born to Hans and Barbara Dorsch in Kronach, Germany, November 9, 1931. Following the end of WWII, she married Kazimierz S. Harski, who was stationed with the military in her hometown. After their marriage, they came to the US, raising their family throughout many military transfers, ultimately settling in Huntsville following his military retirement. In Huntsville, she and her husband acquired many German friends whom they loved to host in their home. Lisa was well known for her lavish buffets and her gift of entertaining. She was an excellent seamstress, sewing her children’s clothes and designing her own fashionable wardrobe. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Kazimierz Harski, and her son-in-law, John Wilson. She is survived by her children, Richard Harski (Susan), Barbara Alvarez (Carlos), Caroline Wilson, and Marian Pruet (Rick); and her dear friend Robert E. Burns. She was blessed with nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A private family graveside service was held.
