Joyce Ann Ray, age 62 of Winchester, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born October 20, 1957 in Harvey, IL to the late Henry Loyd Money and Margie Kathleen Money Ocheltree. She was a dedicated homemaker who was an immaculate housekeeper and devoted to her family. A member of Oaklawn Baptist Church, she loved the Lord and listening to the Bill Gaither Homecoming Collection. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Ray Money and Cal Money. Joyce is survived by her husband of 45 years, Richard Ray of Winchester; son, Adam (Kerry) Ray of Tampa, FL; sisters, Brenda (Ivan) Rankin and Gay (Robin) Brazelton, both of Belvidere; brother, Jim (Joyce) Money of New Market, AL; step-father, Harry “Shorty” Ocheltree; grandchildren, Camryn, John Carter and Spencer; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Thursday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 am Friday, December 20, 2019 at Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. Ray Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
