Joyce Ann Jones Williams, age 69, of Bowling Green, KY passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021 at the Waters of Robertson in Springfield, TN. Funeral services will be at 1pm on Thursday, July 8th at Austin & Bell Funeral Home Greenbrier with Bro. Bob Filson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Cemetery with Houston Ivy, Blake Parris, Hunter Bilyeu, Austin Bilyeu, J C Traughber, Boo Jones and Tommy Weaver serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends 4pm to 8pm on Wednesday July 7th and 11am until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Joyce was born in Springfield, TN on June 17, 1952 to the late James Calvin and Geraldine Parker Hulsey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Vaughn Williams and a brother, Jimmy Jones.
She was a receptionist at TN Oncology and a member of Goodlettsville Church of the Nazarene.
She loved watching her grandkids play ball no matter how far she had to go. She was an avid sports fan, especially of the Atlanta Braves. She also loved going on trips with her church to various destinations.
She is survived by children, Bryan (Kat) Williams and daughter, Jennifer (Josh Dupre) Spengel ; sister, Charlotte (Ronnie) Weaver; brothers, Donny (Angela) Jones, Ronny (Barbara) Jones, Larry (the late Carol) Jones; grandchildren, Houston Ivy, Blake Parris, Stephanie Clark, Hunter Bilyeu, Kassie Williams, Austin Bilyeu, Zoe’ Williams and great-grandchild, Oaklynn Clark.
