Joy Glendon Tatum – Obituary

Joy Glendon Tatum, 68, died Thursday, November 27, 2014, at the Sanctuary Hospice House. She was born September 29, 1946, in Lee County to Prentiss H. and Syble Allred Rogers. She retired from the maintenance department at the University of Mississippi.

Graveside services will be at 11 a. m. Saturday, November 29, at the Center Star Cemetery with Bro. Wayne Thorn officiating. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include two sons, John Gordon of Georgia and Tim Gordon of Millport, Ala.; two brothers, her twin Lynn Rogers (Trixie) of Tupelo and Tommy Rogers (Clara) of Guntown; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, G. L. Tatum; her sister, Genia Brooks; and her parents, Prentiss and Syble Rogers.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Rogers, Chandler Rogers, and Chris Miciello.
