Joshua Parker Daniel, age 12, moved to Heaven, Thursday, February 6, 2025. He was born June 26, 2012 to Jacob and Jennifer Daniel. Joshua attended Ider Baptist Church with his family. His personality commanded attention from everyone he met – which he loved. He loved to sing and dance – loudly. He loved his brothers – fiercely. Basketball was his game and he spent time practicing his skills to be ready for his Dream Team basketball team. He was a friend to everyone he met and loved unconditionally.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 11th at Ider Baptist Church with his dad, Jacob Daniel and Rev. Luke McKay officiating. Burial will follow in Henagar Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Ider Baptist Church and Tuesday from 1p.m. until the time of the service.
He is survived his parents Jacob and Jennifer Parker Daniel; brothers Jonathan, James, and Josiah; grandparents Debbie and Tom Silver, Mary and Lawrence Wilkins, and Daryl and Shirley Parker; great-grandmother Donna Fay Parker; aunts and uncles Christy and Skip Wilson and Daryl Jr. and Lori Parker; cousins Brodie and Brylie Wilson and Tinley Parker; and many other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Wade Daniel.
