Joshua “Josh” Russell Spray, age 47, passed away on February 7, 2026. He was born on March 16, 1978.
Josh was an avid hunter and fisherman, a very hard worker who always provided for his family and gave 100% in everything he did. Known for his playful spirit, he was a prankster who loved to aggravate those around him, always keeping life interesting and full of laughter. Josh was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished family man. His dedication to his family and his strong work ethic will be remembered by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Spray; daughters, Acelyn Spray and Ellie Spray; sons, Andrew Spray, Danny Wayne Spray, and John Oliver Spray; his mother, Martha Spray; and his sister, Allison Kitchens (Chris).
Josh was preceded in death by his father, Kenny Spray; father-in-law, Danny “Dink” Hancock.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, in the chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with Bro. Chris Kitchens officiating. Burial will follow at Alder Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 12:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Michael Wyatt, Joel Todd, Jeremy Dobbs, Josh Teague, Luke Kirkland, and Josiah Kitchens.
