A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 11:00 – 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home.

Joshua was born on February 10, 1988, to James and Michelle Littlejohn. From a young age, Joshua grew up in the things of God and accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. His faith remained an important part of his life throughout the years.

During his adolescent years, Joshua was actively involved in his church youth group, where he participated on the dance and drama team. His love for serving others also led him to participate in mission trips to Mexico and the Czech Republic, experiences that helped shape his heart for ministry and people.

At the age of 21, Joshua enlisted in the Tennessee Army National Guard, where he served as a Supply Clerk. During his military service, Joshua was known as a team player and hard worker. He earned the respect of both his peers and superiors through his dedication, reliability, and willingness to serve.

Joshua was also an avid lover of Christian music. He took great pride in having what he considered excellent musical taste and was always ready to demonstrate his skills on the air guitar. Among his favorite bands were Third Day, Building 429, and Story Side B.

Joshua will be lovingly remembered by his parents, James and Julia Littlejohn; his three brothers, James, Justin (Jamie), and Josiah; his three sisters, Ladasha (John Shelhamer), Latoya, and Latasha. He will also be remembered by extended family, friends, fellow service members, and all those whose lives he touched.

Though he will be deeply missed, Joshua’s family finds comfort in the hope of his faith and the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
