Josh Dale Sears Profile PhotoJoshua Dale Sears, of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. He was 46 years old.

Josh was born on July 23, 1979, in Columbia, Tennessee, to Roger Sears and Pamela Kennedy Putman. From the moment he could talk, it was clear he had a gift for humor. His bright, quick wit and infectious smile were simply part of who he was. Josh loved to make people laugh, and he did it effortlessly. Even during times of illness or difficulty, he carried himself with a smile, determined to lift the spirits of those around him. If he couldn’t make you laugh, then you probably didn’t know what funny was.

He treated everyone the same — with kindness, honesty, and a straightforward nature that could be a little gruff but was always genuine. Josh was a natural salesman, spending much of his life working in furniture and mattress sales. He had a rare talent for connecting with people and could sell just about anything.

Above all else, Josh loved his family. He was a loving father, and his family meant everything to him. His presence, laughter, and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Josh leaves behind a legacy of humor, kindness, and love — and a reminder to smile, even on the hardest days.
