Josephine ‘JoAnn’ Annette Uptain, age 69 of Jasper, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel.
She was preceded in death by her Parents-Franklin Salvatore and Dorothy Valerio; Stepfather-Nicholas Valerio; Brother-Nicholas Valerio; Son-Andrew Uptain; Niece-Tiffany South; Granddaughter-Bratney Uptain.
She is survived by her Husband-David L. Uptain; Son-David M. Uptain; Grandchildren-Laney, Laythen, and Andrew Uptain; Sisters-Vicki, Donna, Linda, and Debbie; Brothers-Ricky, Frankie, and Bobby; A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, and friends.
