Josephine “Jo” Dixon Nash

Josephine “Jo” Dixon Nash, age 88, passed away Sunday, August 09, 2020 at Haywood Lodge and Retirement Center in Waynesville, NC.  She was a native of Lawrence County, Tn.  She retired from David Crockett State Park and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.  She was a member of the Faith and Joy Sunday School Class, and cherished her Tuesday Morning “Young and Heart” Group, she so enjoyed the Fellowship, Activities and their Travel Adventures.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Charles “Charlie” Nash, her parents, Clarence and Beulah Alice Alley Dixon, three brothers, Donald Ray Dixon, Thomas Earl Dixon, and Charles Franklin Dixon.

She is survived by daughters…..

One Brother, William Howard “Duck” Dixon.
Several nieces and nephews and many dear Friends.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Ave, Lawrenceburg, TN.  Due to Covid-19, Her Funeral Service will be Graveside at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens, Friday, August 14, 2020, at 11:00 AM with Reggie Coleman officiating. Family suggests memorials be made to American Heart Association, Alzheimer’s Research, St. Jude’s, or a charity of your choice.
