Josephine Cowley Moore, 91, of Huntsville, passed away Sunday, June 17th, at her home. Mrs. Moore was a native of Madison County and a member of Meridianville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Lila Spragins Moore. She and her husband were lifelong farmers in the Meridianville Community.
Survivors include sons, George Allen Moore (Charlotte), and Michael Spragins Moore (Carol); sister, Barbara Cowley Countess; brother, Billy Ray Cowley; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and five great-grandsons.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Tuesday, June 19th, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Keith Lorick officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
