Mr. Joseph “Wilton” Jack, age 87, Haleyville, AL passed away on December 8, 2024, after a brief illness.
Wilton was a lifelong resident of Haleyville, AL, and a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Phil Campbell, AL. He was a self-employed carpenter for many years. He was also a veteran in the Alabama National Guard.
His visitation will be Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Phil Campbell, AL. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 PM with Jared Oden speaking and John Humphres officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
Mr. Jack is survived by his wife of almost 66 years, Truby Pinkard Jack; children, Keith Jack, Jeffrey (Rhonda) Jack and Debbie (Mark) Foster; grandchildren, Ryan Foster, Tyler Foster, and Hannah Mills.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil & Bertha Jack; brothers, Elbert Jack and Elton Jack; and sister Agnes (Jack) Tidwell.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, AL is assisting the family.
