Private graveside service for Joseph Perry Carden, 83, of Decatur will be held today, Feb. 8, 2017 at Burningtree Memorial Gardens with Brother Brandon Kerby officiating and Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Carden was born June 11, 1933 to the late Harry and Nannie Woodard Carden. Mr. Carden passed away Sunday Feb. 5, 2017. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Danielle Fagan and grandson, Chad Fagan.
Mr. Carden is survived by his wife of 60 years Reba; daughters, Pam Scott and husband, Greg of Decatur, Lisa Letson and husband, Joey of Hillsboro and Debbie Graham and husband, Steve of Eva; one son, Brandon Carden and wife, Brooke; two brothers, Don Carden and Ted Carden; six grandchildren, Brittaney Holderman, Kael Carden, Bryn Carden, Baye Carden, Zane Carden and MacKenzie Carden and three greatgrandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to your favorite charity. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
