Mr. Joseph Michael Weddington, age 30, of Nashville, Tennessee, formerly of Muscle Shoals, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014. His family will receive friends for visitation Saturday evening, May 24, from 6-8 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. The funeral will begin on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ben Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Joseph was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Avon Morgan and Lawrence Weddington.
Joseph was a member of Combat Infantryman Association and disabled veteran of the United States Army where he served in the Iraqi Freedom War and the DMZ in South Korea.
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Revae Weddington; grandmother, Mary Ann Weddington; sister, Alicia Reaves (Trey); nieces, Emma and Ruthie Reaves; nephew, Colt Michael Reaves; girlfriend, Kim Lynn; and a host of other loving family members.
His family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
