. U. S. Army Col. Joseph Methvin, age 84, of Florence formerly of Germantown, Tennessee, passed away March 7, 2020. Joseph was a member of the Germantown Church of Christ, Germantown, Tennessee, and a veteran who served his country proudly within the United States Army.
Visitation will Friday, March 13, 2020 at Greenview Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m until 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Burial will be Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama with full military honors.
Mr. Methvin was preceded in death by his parents, DeArmond T. and Berta Methvin.
Mr. Methvin is survived by his wife, Alice Underwood Methvin; his brother, Gordon Methvin (wife, Eva Jane) of Clearwater, Florida; his niece, Debbie Methvin of Clearwater, Florida; and his nephew, Doug Methvin of Clearwater, Florida.
