Joseph McKinley Rowsey was born June 28, 1972 in Tupelo, MS the son of the late Joseph Levi Rowsey and Rebecca Mavine Rhodes Rowsey.
Joseph worked for many years as a commercial truck driver. He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps.
He enjoyed deer hunting and spending time with his son, Levi.
Joseph McKinley Rowsey departed this life on March 5, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 50 Years, 8 Months, 5 Days. He is survived by a son, McKinley Levi Rowsey; three sisters, Michele Chamberlain, Jennifer Woodard and husband Darrell, Jamie Rowsey; five nieces, Katelyn, Sydney, Cecilia, Sarah and Evelina; honorary grandmother, Sarah Gray; uncles and aunts, Eugene Rhodes (Shirley), Lorene Sherman (Ross), Roy Rhodes (Nita), Gerald Rhodes (Janice), Philip Rowsey (Jane), Sue Rhodes, Yvonne Rowsey; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Joe and Mavine Rowsey he was preceded in death by grandmother, Velma Rhodes; grandparents, Millard and Ruthie Mae Rowsey; honorary grandfather, Joe Gray; uncles, Lonnie Rowsey and Ardean Rhodes; aunt, Charlene Bates.
