Joseph Martin Hanners, age 61, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by family, September 16, 2026.
Joseph was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a man who believed in family and was there for the people he loved.
Joseph was a devoted husband to his wife, Robin Patrick Hanners and shared many years and memories with her. He was also a loving, devoted father who loved his children unconditionally.
Joseph was a truck driver for 20 years, a career he dedicated himself to with pride and commitment.
Joseph will be remembered for the love he showed his family, the memories he created, his strong work ethic and the lasting impact he had on the lives of those who knew him. His absence will leave a deep void in the hearts of his family and friends.
Joseph was survived by his loving wife, Robin Patrick Hanners; his children, Bobby Hanners, Robert E (Patsy) Stewart, Justin (Heather) Stewart, Amber Stewart, Joseph (Bridget) Millwood; grandchildren, Ryan Stewart, Cody Stewart, Makenzie, Kevin Puckett III, Shakala Puckett, Robbie Stewart, Chasity Stewart, Raleigh Stewart, Justlyn Stewart, Justin Dale Stewart (JJ), Preston Hanners, Landon Hanners, Riley Hanners, Bubba Hanners, Britton Hanners, Austin, Cayden, Maci, Adrianna, Selena, Anna; great Grandkids, Kennedy Stewart, Rynlee Puckett and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Todd Hanners; father, Joseph Thurman Hanners; mother, Emma Ophlia Thomas.
