Joseph Louis Lovvorn Jr., 76, of Florence, AL passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016. Joseph was a member of the United Methodist Church of Town Creek. Joseph was also a CPA. Joseph retired from Alabama Co-op in Decatur as the Chief Financial Officer after 30 plus years of loyal service. Joseph was an avid Alabama Football fan.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Rosie Lovvorn; Wife, Gloria Wells Lovvorn; Granddaughter, Christiana Marie Lovvorn; Sister JoAnn Cain.

Survivors are his sons, Trey Lovvorn (Jenna), Andy Lovvorn; Grandsons, Andrew Lovvorn, Luke Hammond, Kaden Lovvorn, Blake Hammond, and Jackson Lovvorn; Sisters, Estelle Weeks (Charles), Edna Beaver, Ruth Davenport (Claude); Special Nephew, Joe Beaver; Special Niece, Melinda Hodges.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Claude Davenport, Charles Weeks, Roger DePoyster, Joe Beaver, and Grandsons.

Special thanks to Roger DePoyster, the full staff of Southern Care Hospice, Dr. Scarborough, Dr. Wampler, Melinda Hodges, and Beloved Sister Ruth Davenport for the love and care given to our dear Dad and Brother.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Disabled American Veteran Society, 3313 Memorial Pkwy SW # 104, Huntsville, AL 35801.
