Joseph Kenneth “Bubba” Tucker, 75, went home to be with the Lord after a long illness on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
He was born on January 29, 1951 to James and Bonnise Tucker in Ripley.
Mr. Tucker worked for the Lauderdale County Highway Department for 42 years and enjoyed serving his community. He enjoyed hunting, farming, and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, son, and loyal friend to many.
The husband of Anita Tucker, he is survived by 2 daughters Hannah Booker of Munford and Katelin Lowery of Memphis; a son Kenneth W. Tucker of Ripley; a sister Betty Kirkpatrick of Ripley, 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Bonnise Tucker, daughter Lori Tucker, grandson Joseph W. Tucker, and father-in-law Wayne Smith.
A visitation will begin at 12 PM Saturday at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley with funeral services to follow at 2 PM. Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
