Funeral for Joseph “Joe“ Paul Jenkins, 78, of Caddo will be Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel. The family will have a visitation from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home with Brother Richard Garlen officiating and Robert Bates performing Masonic graveside rites. Burial will be in Roselawn cemetery.

Mr. Jenkins was born March 19, 1939 in Jonesboro Arkansas. He was an Army veteran and retired from Calhoun College. He was a Past Master of Rising Sun Masonic Lodge No. 29, past district lecture and Chairman of Committee on work. Past president of Northwest Proficiency Club; Charter member and past president of Caddo Midway Fire Department; Member of Caddo United Methodist Church; 8er’s of Decatur square dance club; River city “A’s” in Decatur and Echota Cherokee Tribe.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara Jenkins; son, Phillip Lee Jenkins and wife, Margie; daughter, Paula White and husband, David; grandchildren, Sarah Lindsey, Brandi Morgan, Matthew Jenkins, Jessica Jenkins; and great- grandchildren, Aiden Early and Kaydee Lindsey.

Pallbearers will be Buehl Rusk, Richard Jenkins, Michael Jenkins, Matthew Jenkins, Tim Ricketts and Joey Runager. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mason’s.

The family request donations to your favorite charity or the Leukemia Society.
