Joseph “Joe” Harold Jones, 74, of Arab, died Friday October 26, 2018 at Marshall Medical Center North.
Mr. Jones was born October 5, 1944 in Ohio, to Bruce Jones and Effie Wurstel Jones. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked for Telephone Companies in information technology until his retirement. He and Janie Marie King were married for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing and watching movies. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife: Janice M. Jones; his son: Cody Jones; his brother: David Jones and two sisters: Karen Wright and Mary Ann Jones.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday October 30, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brothers: Michael Murphree and Bobby Murphree, officiating. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Greg Franklin, Jim Franklin, Michael Dunlap, Jimmy Fleming, Danny Bolding, David Jones, David Wright and Tim Wright.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday October 30, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel prior to the service.
