Joseph Harold Scollard, age 91 of Huntsville passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017.
Mr. Scollard is survived by his wife; Betty Hensley Scollard; children Larry Scollard,(Pam), Loretta Farish (Terry), Brenda Kirkpatrick (Steve), David Scollard (Linda), Stephen Scollard (Patty), Michael Scollard (Michele), Jody Scollard (Christa); grandchildren; George, Justin, Matt, Jenny, Katie, Kelley, Stephanie, Andrew, Meagan, Laura, Colin, Lauren and Eric; nine great-grandchildren.
Mr. Scollard was a native of Ponca, Nebraska. He graduated from Wayne State College with a degree in Mathematics. He retired from Marshall Space Flight Center in 1986 after more than 35 years of service.
Visitation for Mr. Scollard is Wed., April 12, 2017, from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. The funeral will follow at 11:00 with Father Mike MacMahon officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
