Joseph Fletcher was born on November 14, 1947 to the late Mammie Hafley and Walter Fletcher. He passed this life on July 22, 2019.

He confessed the Lord as his personal Savior at an early age at the Big Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted wife of 40 years, Estella Fletcher; two loving brothers: Walter Fletcher and Anthony Fletcher; four sisters: Diana Whitsett (Robert), Betty Lanier, Gretchen Fletcher and Linda Fletcher; three step-children: Kathy Bibbs (Terry), James Bibbs (Eva) and Timothy Bibbs; his granddaughter whom was very dear to him, Jacquetta Bibbs; great-grandson, Jaylen Bibbs; two special friends: James Wright and Sam Leslie; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2019, at the Big Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church (133 Maple Street, Madison, AL 35756) with Pastor Jeffery Jefferson officiating. Interment will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Mr. Fletcher will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.

Public viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 25, 2019, and from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 26, 2019, at Royal Funeral Home.
