Celebration of Life for Joseph Eugene Mitchell, 54, of Decatur, will be Monday, June 25, 2018 at 7 p.m. at Beltline Church of Christ with Steve Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m. prior to the service. Shelton Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Mr. Mitchell died Monday, June 18, 2018 at his residence. He was born June 24, 1963 in Lawrence County to Harvey Eugene Mitchell and Patricia Ann Bass Mitchell. He was a customer service manager for BASF.
Survivors include his loving wife, Patricia Kelley Mitchell; one daughter, Sarah Grace Mitchell of Houston, Texas; father, Gene Mitchell (Montez) of Mount Hope; mother, Patricia Fricks (Edward) of Decatur; sister, Kim Morris (Dennis) of Priceville; and two stepbrothers, Eric Farmer of Mount Hope and Steve Fricks of Albertville.
