Joseph Carroll Draper, 82 of Athens, Alabama, died Thursday, July 28, 2022 at his residence.
Mr. Draper was born April 19, 1940 in Hayti Missouri, he was a member of Mt. Carmel Church of Christ and he was retired from Solutia in Decatur.
Services will be 2pm Monday at Mt. Carmel Church of Christ with Odis Duncan officiating with burial in Dement Cemetery.
Visitation is from 11am until service Monday at the church. Spry Funeral Home in Athens is directing.
Survivors: Wife, Sandra Draper of Athens. Daughters, Debbie Chamberlain (Robb) of Athens and Amy Carter (Sam) of Athens. Sister, Ruby Genice Robbins of Florence.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Joe and Ruby Draper. Grandson, Garrett Chamberlain. Brothers, Lifford, Bill, Pete and Paul Draper. Sisters, Vernon and Fay.
