Jordan Christopher Flatt, age 39, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Warren County on July 22, 2026. Jordan was born on May 11, 1987, to the late Deborah Elaine Flatt. Jordan had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing. He was also an enthusiastic sports fan, with a special passion for baseball and football. His favorite teams were the Houston Astros and the Tennessee Volunteers.
In addition to his mother, Jordan was preceded in death by his grandfather; Grandel Lee Flatt, maternal great-grandparents; Logan and Lora Mae Flatt, James Thomas and Irene Rigsby Walling.
Jordan is survived by his loving family, sister; Selena Flatt, grandmother; Mary Flatt, special cousins; Sue (Rodney) Willett, Keisha (Wade) McBride, Canaan Caldwell, Terra Smith, Jim Walling, Marilyn Dixon, Vivian Bailey, best friends; Travis VanWinkle, and Titus Sullivan. Many cousins, friends, and extended family also survive.
A funeral service for Jordan will be held on Tuesday July 28th, 2026, at 2:00pm in the Layne Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rick Lyles and Bro. Dalton Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Spencer Town Cemetery. Visitation times are Monday July 27th, 2026, from 5:00pm-9:00pm and
Tuesday from 10:00am until the time of service at 2:00pm.
