Jonell Campbell, 84, of Ardmore, TN, died on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at Ardmore Care and Rehabilitation Center in Ardmore, TN.
She was born in Blanche, TN on July 3, 1929, to the late Joe Young Walker and the late Myrtle Steadman Walker. She had lived all her life in the Ardmore area and was a member of New Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, sewing, crafts, flower gardening, and was a foster grandparent. She also enjoyed people, visiting and especially cooking for others at Christmas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Robert Eugene Campbell, and a sister: Melba Walker Cross.
She is survived by a brother: Kenneth (Martha) Walker of White Bluff, TN, a sister: Faye Weece of Ardmore, TN, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, November 29, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. Derrick Moose officiating. Burial will follow in New Grove Cemetery, Blanche, TN.
