Jonathan “Jon” Richard Jayne, 51, of Navarre Beach passed away on Sunday.
Jon was born in Newport, Rhode Island. He was a 1989 graduate of Butler High. He attended Livingston University where he was a Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity brother. He was the life of every party. He was kind and generous. He was a free spirit and loved to travel and live life by his own rules. Jon was bright, funny and enthusiastic about making his own way in this world which lent itself to him being a great salesman. He enjoyed hosting his family and friends at his dream place at the beach. He was a lover of life, Alabama football and Budweiser.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alfred and Marie Jayne, Billy Caneer and Mildred Adams Miller (Curtis) and his brother Little Billy Jayne.
Surviving family members are his father Richard Jayne (Judy), mother Susan Caneer Long (Jim), grandmother Tina Caneer, siblings Josh Jayne (Lisa), Matt Jayne (JJ), Mikey Jayne (Jessica) and Ethan Jayne (Nikki), nephews Andrew Jayne (Lucia), Schuyler Jayne, Austin Rodenberry and Tayjh Kelly, nieces Savannah Jayne and Jordyn Rodenberry and grand niece Leslie Cookson and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends.
