Johnny White was born on March 21, 1949 in Savannah, Tennessee, the son of the late Willie D. White and Velma Lee Harville.
He was united in marriage to Bessie Louise Austin, who preceded her husband in death.
Mr. White worked as a farmer and loved to work on the farm. He also enjoyed watching wrestling and working on old tractors and motors.
Johnny White departed this life on February 8, 2026 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 76 years, 10 months, and 18 days.
He is survived by his daughters, Sherrie Lee McGill and Angela K. Cossey; sister, Donnie Sue Shaw Burrow; grandchildren, Layne Morris, Lindsey Cossey, Holly Jo Williams, and Emory Payne; a great grandchild on the way; and nieces and nephews, Sherry Shaw Peranteau (Tommy), Buddy Shaw (Shannon), Johnnie Hosea, and Ashley Balentine (Brandy).
In addition to his wife and parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his sisters, Willie Mae White and Zella Ann White Balentine; brother, Tommy Jack White; and grandson, Kenneth Glover.
