Johnny Wayne Cox, 73 of Athens, Alabama, died Monday, July 27, 2020 at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
There will be a 11am Graveside Service Friday at Mitchell Cemetery in Anderson. Visitation is from 6pm until 8pm Thursday at Spry Funeral Home in Athens.
Mr. Cox was born September 13, 1946 in Limestone County, he was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, he was a Carpenter and a member of the Local Carpenters Union.
Survivors: Son: Michael Cox of Elkmont; Daughters: Veronica Quiroz of Athens and Rhonda Salazar of Elkmont; Sister: Judy Harris of Ohio; Twelve Grandchildren; Eight Great Grandchildren. Special Friends: Laura Aldridge, Jackie Brannon and Gary Clem.
Preceded in death by: Parents: George and Francis Cox; Daughter-in-law: Donna Cox.
