Johnny W. NeSmith, 70, of Nauvoo, passed away Friday, June 12, 2026, at his home. Family will receive friends Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Townley Church of God. Service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Whitley Cemetery in Fayette County. Phillip Noles will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Myles and Agnes NeSmith of Townley, AL; father in law Henry Q. Pike and Annie Clay Pike of Carbon Hill, AL; granddaughter, Brooklynne Denise NeSmith of North Carolina.
He is survived by wife, Kandie NeSmith; son, Joshua NeSmith; grandchildren, Raegan NeSmith, Keira NeSmith, Abby NeSmith, and Jayce NeSmith; brother, Winford NeSmith of Townley, AL; and brother in law, Tommy Pike (Janice) of Jasper, AL.
