Johnny Ray Johnson, 75, died Thursday, April 18, 2019, at his home. He was born March 14, 1944, to Willie Quitman and Cora Lee Kelton Johnson. He was a retired logger and had served in the National Guard. He loved his garden and his flowers.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 21, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Rodney Johnson and Bro. Roger Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Sandy Springs Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Mae Johnson, and his son, Albert Johnson (Sherry), both of Fulton; his grandchildren, Jason Smith, Buddy Smith, Keyleigh Smith, Maddie Smith, Lindsey Shields, Austin Johnson, Grayson Green, Anna Green, Cameron Shields, Braxton Shields, and Kinsley Shields; one brother, Jimmy Johnson of Mantachie; and one sister, Jeanette Oaks of Red Bay, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dinah Smith; his parents; five brothers, Jake, Melvin, Tulon, Alton, and Tommy Johnson; and two sisters, Reba Ewing and Vetress Porter.

Pallbearers will be Austin Johnson, Jason Smith, Buddy Smith, Jeff Hill, Drew Hill, Marty Johnson, and Gavin Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Smith and Leroy Johnson.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at the funeral home.
