Mr. Johnny Ray Edwards, age 60, of Vernon, AL, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa.Funeral services will be Saturday, August 14, at 4:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with James Godsey officiating. Burial will follow at Celebration Worship Center Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, 2:00-4:00, prior to the service.
Survivors include his wife, Dola Mae Edwards, of Vernon, AL; two daughters, Melissa Edwards and Angela Edwards, both of Vernon, AL; five grandchildren, Harley Edwards of Caledonia, MS, Teagan Spruill of Vernon, AL, Paisley Lewis of Vernon, AL, Miracle Edwards of Birmingham, AL, and Hunter Lee of Booneville, MS; one brother, James David Edwards of Vernon, AL; two sisters, Joyce Harcrow of Reform, AL and Judy Ford of Pontotoc, MS; and two very special friends, Henry Spruill and Roy Ford.
