Johnny Ravis Peters, 72, of Tuscumbia passed away Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017. Memorial visitation will be Monday, Feb. 13, 2017 at Colbert Memorial Chapel from 5 to 6 p.m. with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 6 p.m. He was a Member of Ford City Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served in Vietnam.
Mr. Peters is preceded in death by his parents, L.V. and Pauline Peters; wife, Becky Peters; and brother, Franklin Peters.
Survivors are son, John-Lewis Peters; daughters, Tina Kirk-Harrison (Brad), Jessica Peters and Jennifer Jenkins (Alan); grandchildren, Andrew and Alexander Kirk, Audrey, Avery and Ally Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Alexander Kirk; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.
Brother Truman Kimbrough will be officiating.
Colbert Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
