Johnny Nowlin Shands, age 78, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at his residence. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired Boilermaker Local 455, and attended County Line Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ollie and Marie Nowlin Shands; one brother, Earl Shands; one sister, Ann Renshaw; and one granddaughter, Kella Lindsey.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Friday, January 16, 2015, with Johnny Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow at Spann Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to County Line Church of Christ.
