Johnny Baker Profile Photo  Johnny Michael Baker, 46, of Nettleton, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025. He was born in Amory, Mississippi, on March 24, 1979, to Johnny and Barbara Gray Baker.

Johnny was raised in Nettleton and attended Nettleton Schools. He spent his entire career perfecting his craft in floor covering installation and was the proud owner of Baker Installation. Known for his hard work and dedication, Johnny built a reputation for excellence in his trade.

A true outdoorsman, Johnny enjoyed hunting, fishing, and raising game chickens. He found joy in the simple things and valued time spent in nature. More than anything, Johnny cherished his role as a devoted son, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and loyal friend.

He is survived by his loving mother, Barbara Baker of Nettleton; sons, Kade Baker (Gracie) of Amory and Wesley Baker of Iuka; fiancée, Crystal Starling of Nettleton; sister, Melissa Baker of Amory; granddaughter, Abney Kathryn Baker; nieces, Zoie Christian and Zaylie Wilf, both of Amory; and great-niece, Harlynn Reeves.

Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Hugh Baker, and grandparents, Wesley Gray and June Gray.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory, with Bro. Chris McCord officiating. Burial will follow at Jones Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Kade Baker, Wesley Baker, Brandon Bynam, Chace House, Richard Randolph, and Brad Payne.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM.
