Johnny Max Miles, 70, died Thursday, September 20, 2018 at North Miss. Medical Center Hospice in Tupelo after a brief illness. Johnny was born in Boaz, Ala. on November 15, 1947 to the late Bonnie Lee Miles and Mamie Lee Elkins Miles. He grew up in Alabama and lived in the Nashville, Tenn. area many years. In l984, he and his wife, Christine Holt Miles, moved to the Belden area where they have resided ever since. Johnny was a truck driver for the City of Tupelo. They attended the Orchard.
Johnny’s hobbies included work and watching his grandson, Hunter play football and baseball at North Pontotoc High as well as race cars. He enjoyed fishing in the pond behind his house.

Johnny is survived by his wife; Christine Holt Miles; his son, Johnny Mack Miles of Belden; 3 daughters, Tammy, Lisa and Lori Miles; 2 grandchildren, Hunter and Isabella Miles and a sister, Sharon MilesTomlin (John) of Springfield, Tenn. a host of friends and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents.
