Johnny Mack Wilbert, age 67 of Sumiton passed away August 29, 2019 at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Visitation will be 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with cremation to follow. Bell Sumiton Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Albert and Mary Wilbert; sisters, Mary Frances Cicero and Linda Phillips; and brothers, Charles Wilbert, Gene Wilbert and Danny Wilbert.
His survivors include his wife, Patti Wilbert of Sumiton; daughter, Charlotte Rhodes (James) of Empire; son, Austin Wilbert (Crystal) of Dora; grandchildren, Kelsey Rhodes, Matthew Rhodes, Autumn Wilbert, Aaron Wilbert, Savanah Wilbert, and Sierra Wilbert, all of Empire; great grandsons, Brantley Rhodes-Doss and Greyson Rhodes; son, Steven Coonts (Sarah) of Mt. Olive; grandchildren, Jacob Coonts and Hannah Coonts of Mt. Olive; sister, Brenda Runyan of Jasper; brothers, Jimmy Wilbert and Dennise Wilbert of Dora; special nephew, Chuckie Wilbert of Dora; special sister-in-law, Doris Wilbert of Dora; and a host of other relatives and friends.
