Johnny Lynn Tidwell, age 62 of Town Creek, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026 at UAB in Birmingham. He was born May 22, 1963 to J.T. and Opal Jean Tidwell. Johnny had a great sense of humor, he was known to be a little stubborn. He was a hard worker and a talented pipe fitter, “The best on this side of the river” some would say. Johnny loved his kids, grandkids, dogs and horses, and enjoyed riding motorcycles. Visitation will be Sunday, February 1, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Moulton Heritage Funeral Home in Moulton, where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Donald Cemetery in Town Creek. Brother Scotty Letson will officiate. Johnny is survived by his wife of 18 years, Karen Murphy; daughters, Danuelle (Chris) Terry and Dara (Heath) Bradford; grandchildren, Rylie (Ethan) Wells, Bri (Trevor) Peebles, Alex Bradford, and Gunner Bradford; niece, Angela (Chad) Sims; nephews, Nikki Lovett and Heath Lovett; great nephews, Raycen Sims, Hunter Lovett, and Dallas Lovett. He is preceded in death by his parents, J.T. and Opal Tidwell; brother, Lennis Wayne Lovett; sister, Tammy Jean Tolbert.
