Johnny Lee McVay, 82, of Iuka, MS, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home in Iuka. He enjoyed riding four wheelers, playing pool, and fishing. Johnny enjoyed hanging out with his friends and family, especially at fish fry’s. He was a die hard Alabama fan, and a member of the Steel Worker’s Union. He was also a member of Cross Country Truck Driving and had been to all 48 states of the contiguous United States. Johnny was surived by his children, Beverly Ragan (Jeff), Melinda Whited (Bruce), and Lee McVay; his grandchildren, Amanda Huggins (Brent), Jonathan Ragan (Kristina), Brittany Coker (Josh), Kimberly Briggs (Jordan), Tanner Parsons, Logan Whited, and Leanna Whited; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna McVay; his parents, William and Sadie Franklin McVay; his sisters, Janice Dawson and Barbara Ann Randal; his brother, Billy McVay; and his great-grandson, Maverick Parsons. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M., at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Services are scheduled for Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 3:00 P.M., at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. William Lambert. Burial will follow in Morris Hill Cemetery.
