Johnny Hayes Linton, age 52, died Thursday, February 14, 2013 at his home near Henderson.
Mr. Linton was born in Henderson and grew up in the Talley Store Community of Chester County, the son of the late Willie and Lola Mae Burross Linton. He attended Chester County schools. He worked on local farms as a young man and later as a driver for Jones Lumber Company. He had also worked for the County Hwy Department and most recently worked as a logger.
Mr. Linton was pre-deceased by his parents and a brother Stanley Linton in 2000.
He is survived by a great uncle D. B. Weatherington and great aunts Imogene Hollin and Inez Cash all of Enville and several second cousins.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Monday at Shackelford Funeral Directors –Casey Chapel with Eddie Walker officiating and burial will follow at Middlefork Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Shackelford Funeral Directors –Casey Chapel beginning at 11:00AM Monday.
