Johnny H. Davis, 76, Russellville, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.
He lived most of his life in Franklin County and was a member of Tharptown Baptist Church. He was a Mason for over 50 years, Eastern Star for over 50 years and member of the Shriners. He served his country in the United States Air Force from 1955-1975.
Visitation will be Friday, February 27, 2015, from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville. Funeral service will be at Friday, 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Tharptown Cemetery with full military honors.
Survivors include, wife of 58 years, Betty A. Davis; sons, Timmy Davis, Tommy (Linda) Davis, daughter, Lori (Wayne) Miller, all of Russellville; brother, Roy (Voncile) Davis, Phil Campbell; sister, Rosia (Phil ) Kelly, Boston Massachusetts; grandchildren, Anna Davis, Dustin Miller, Chelsea Morgan; great-grandchildren, Bryson Morgan, Sadie Beth Morgan; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Jessie Davis; brother, Bobby Ray Davis; sister, Ernestine Colburn.
