Johnny B. Yarbrough – Obituary

Funeral service for Johnny B. Yarbrough, 75, of Moulton will be today, March 9, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby McIntyre officiating. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation is today from noon until service time at the funeral home.

Mr Yarbrough, who died Friday, March 7, 2014, was born September 25, 1938, in Lawrence County to John H. Yarbrough and Chloe Letson Yarbrough. He was a beloved father and enjoyed spending time outside riding his gator with his german sheperd, Sam. He was a member of the Loyd O. Glenn Masonic Lodge No. 6 in Moulton and retired from 3 M as a chemical supervisor after 33 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Cecil, Robert and Billy; and a sister, Rachel Cowan.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Shirley Yarbrough; son, Mark Yarbrough (Reda); daughter, Jan Nicholson (Jeff); two grandchildren, Ashley Walker (Trent) and Haley Yarbrough; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Larry Yarbrough; and three sisters, Sue Cowan, Peggy Aldridge and Patsy Smith.

Pallbearers will be Yon Spigle, Bradley Cross, Timmy Johnson, Gene Terry, Don Smith, Jerry Yarbrough, Scott Henderson and Hollis McCay.
