Johnnie Wood Devaughn, 72, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at The Meadows in Fulton . She was born April 19, 1943 to and the late Reggie and Burton Wood in Itawamba County. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She enjoyed helping others, and spendijng time with her family and friends.

Survivors include he son, Gary (Vicki) Hamm of Fulton, 2 Grandsons, Zack and Bryson Hamm, granddaughter, Lakin Hamm, 2 brothers, Danny Wood of Fulton, and Ricky (Nancy) Wood of Fulton, 2 Sisters, Dorothy Wood of Fulton, and Peggy Hayes of Fulton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill DeVaughn, previous husband, Gene Hamm, her parents, sister, Helen Lofton, 2 brother in laws, Charlie Lofton, and Bob Hayes.
Pallbearers will be Tim Hayes, Thomas Wood, Jeremy Wood, Donnie Lofton, Frank Yielding, Brad Evans, and Chuck Lofton.
