Obituary of Johnnie Vincent  Johnnie Leo Vincent of Pulaski “graduated” to heaven on September 5, 2025,

surrounded by his family. He was born in Geneva, Alabama on January 29, 1931, the

youngest of 11 children. Johnnie served his country through the U. S. Air Force, retiring

after 20 years of service in 1967. Following his retirement, Johnnie served in various

capacities through his baking expertise. He never knew a stranger and never lacked for

a story to tell. He was a faithful follower of Jesus and exhibited that faith in everything

he did.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 11 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Carr and Erwin Funeral

Home. A Celebration of Life will be Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral

home with Pastor Brad Lowrey officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to

Christ Life Academy at New Prospect Baptist Church or the Giles County Honor Guard.

Johnnie is survived by his wife Juda (Judy) Vincent and their two children Lavonda

(David) Mann and Noel (Renee) Vincent. He is also survived by his five children:

Ronnie (Elaine) Vincent, Robert Vincent, Johnnie Vincent, Jr. (Bessie), Gay Vincent,

and Janet Vincent. Additionally , Johnnie is survived by numerous grandchildren, great-

grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank all those who have provided care and comfort in

Johnnie’s final season of life.
