Johnnie Columbus Nelson, Sr., age 83, of Jasper, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Curry Cemetery. Dennis Tidwell will officiate.
Mr. Nelson was preceded in death by his Parents-Frank and Ola Nelson; Sisters-Dorothy Nunnally, Doris Crotser and Ercel Dixon; Brother-Donnie Nelson; Daughter-Cindy Glaze.
He is survived by his Wife-Edra A. Nelson; Daughters-Connie Rogers (Dwyatt) and Beth Spring (Tom); Son-Johnnie C. Nelson, Jr. (Shawna); Sister-Mary Jean Roden; 10 Grandchildren; Host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will be accepting flowers or donations may be made to a favorite charity in memory of Mr. Nelson.
