Johnna Leigh Gobbell was born on March 25, 1982 to the union of her parents the late Mr. Rayford Allen and Mrs. Jonnie Annette Riley Gobbell. Spending much of her life in Waynesboro, TN, she graduated from Wayne County High School followed by her education at TCAT in Hohenwald, TN. After obtaining her LPN, she worked as a nurse, primarily in long term care. This was a career she cherished, as she cared for others more than herself. In recent years, she would move to Clarksville, TN, changing careers to become a successful leasing professional with Freeman Webb Company. Training many new leasing agents in the Clarksville area, she utilized her people skills and professionalism for a purpose. Johnna was an ambitious woman who enjoyed a challenge and always found herself rising to the top of any vocation she chose. She enjoyed making floral arrangements and spending time with her beloved cat, Amaranthe, in her leisure time. Those who knew her will particularly remember her for her giving personality and heart of gold. The moments she held dearest to her were the moments she spent with her children and family. Ms. Johnna Leigh Gobbell departed this earthly life on June 8, 2026 at her home in Clarksville, TN, making her stay on this earth some 44 years, 2 months, and 14 days.
She is survived by her daughter Jaleigh and son Chase; sister Hannah, husband Chance; aunt Rita, husband Frank; Cousins; Elijah and Tara, husband Michael; grandmother Evelyn; and close family friend Fawn; as well as many other friends, family, and loved ones.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandparents John and Doris Riley, grandfather James Gobbell, aunt Connie Riley Anderson, and uncle Randall Gobbell.
Funeral Services will be held Friday June 12, 2026 at 3:00 pm with Carey Crews officiating. Burial will follow in the Waynesboro Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the family will begin Friday June 12, 2026 begingin at 12:00 pm until 3;00 pm service time all at Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation, LLC Chapel in Waynesboro, TN.
