Johnathan “Ben” Polk, 34, of Sardis, TN, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. He was born March 18, 1987, in Jackson, TN, and was employed as a heavy-equipment operator. He was an avid outsdoorsman with an appreciation for all things Nature. He loved his family and friends, and spending time on the river with them. In addition, Ben loved the outdoors, and could be found at his happiest in nature, from hunting arrowheads, to chasing deer, ducks, and turkeys.
Ben is survived by his parents Danny and Deborah (Little) Polk; his girlfriend Hope Clayton and her children; one son, Cameron; a brother, Sam, two nephews, Parker and Griffin Polk; and a niece, Keeley Polk. He is also survived by an extra set of parents, Jimmy and Beverly Ivy.
Funeral services for Ben will be in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill on Monday, July 5, at 11:00, with burial to follow in the Sardis Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin Sunday, July 4, at 5:00 p.m., until 8:00 p.m., and on Monday at 10:00 until time of the service.
